The AIMA Drain Cover plan is designed to assist with unexpected drainage and water-related issues in your home. This cover addresses emergencies and other domestic drainage-related incidents, ensuring prompt assistance from our team of skilled professionals.
This agreement constitutes a 12-month service plan between you (the customer) and AIMA Drain Cover Ltd. It outlines the terms of your subscription and the services provided. Please review the details carefully.
If you experience a drainage issue covered under this plan, contact us immediately by calling the claims helpline provided. You or an authorized representative must inform us as soon as possible to arrange for resolution.
Claims must be pre-authorized by AIMA Drain Cover Ltd; work completed without prior approval will not be reimbursed.
Be ready to provide your policy number when calling.
If your plan includes an excess, the specified amount must be paid upfront for each distinct issue. Payments can be made via Mastercard, Visa, or Visa Delta.
Refunds on Excess:Excess payments will be reimbursed if your claim is canceled before an engineer is dispatched or if the issue falls outside the scope of this plan after inspection.
Your AIMA Drain Cover plan is valid for 12 months unless canceled earlier by either party. Details of cancellation rights are listed below.
Canceling Your Plan
You may cancel the plan at any time by contacting us via phone or in writing. Refunds will depend on the time of cancellation and whether you have made a claim:
Within the cooling-off period (first 14 days):
No claims made: Full refund.
Claims made: Refund minus the value of any claims covered.
After the cooling-off period:
No claims made: Refund minus the cost of days covered.
Claims made: No refund will be issued, and the remaining premium must be paid.
Canceling by AIMA Drain Cover Ltd
We reserve the right to terminate your plan with 7 days’ written notice in the following circumstances:
Non-payment of premium after reminders.
Fraudulent claims.
Abusive or threatening behavior toward staff or engineers.
All payments are made on a pre-pay basis (monthly or annually). If you miss a payment, your plan may be suspended, preventing new claims until the balance is cleared. If payments remain unpaid after 30 days, the policy will be canceled.
If you move to a new property, notify us promptly. We will confirm whether the plan applies to the new address before transferring it.
This plan does not automatically renew. You will need to contact us before the end of the 12-month term to continue your cover.
If you have a complaint, please contact us in writing or by phone. Only the named policyholder or an authorized representative can lodge complaints. We aim to address all complaints within 8 weeks.

What’s Not Included
Issues related to boilers or heating systems
Shared or communal drains
Taps, sinks, or guttering
Damage caused by negligence or improper disposal of materials
Frozen pipes unless resulting in a permanent blockage
Costs associated with decorative restoration, such as lawns or flowerbeds
Appliances, showers, radiators, or sanitary ware
Emergency cases, such as uncontrolled leaks, will be prioritized. For non-urgent issues, appointments will be scheduled at the earliest convenience.
Our liability is limited to the repair and installation services outlined in your policy. Blockages that reoccur due to improper use cannot be guaranteed. Excavations will include temporary reinstatement of the ground; permanent reinstatement is subject to standard materials and methods, and exact matches cannot be guaranteed.
Plumbing and Drainage: Covers internal pipes, waste pipes, water tanks, and drains you are legally responsible for.
Water Supply Pipe: Refers to the pipe connecting your property to the main water supply.
Temporary Reinstatement: Re-filling excavated areas to make them safe.
Permanent Reinstatement: Repairing excavated areas to a functional state but not necessarily to original decorative condition.
